The Florida Board of Nursing acknowledges November 10-16, 2013 as National Nurse Practitioner Week in recognition of the contribution these professionals make to the residents and visitors to Florida.
There are over 15,000 Nurse Practitioners in Florida with advanced education and clinical training beyond their initial registered nurse preparation. This week we celebrate these practitioners and their dedication to the field of nursing.
