The eNLC was implemented on January 19, 2018 – visit the Board of Nursing website for future updates about the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact. For more information, please click here.

Florida RNs and LPNs can now apply to convert to a multi-state license. To access the on-line licensure application,

Log in with your existing User ID and Password in order to proceed to “Manage my License” – then choose “multi-state Registered Nurse upgrade application” from the dropdown menu.

The Board of Nursing will accept Livescan criminal background results completed within the previous 90 days of applying for multi-state license. If you have not had your fingerprints done and sent to the Board in the last 90 days, you will need to be fingerprinted through a Livescan vendor as part of this application process – click www.flhealthsource.gov/bgs-providers for a list of providers. Please provide ORI EDOH4420Z to the Livescan vendor you select.
