Staff of the Florida Board of Nursing had an opportunity to tour Tallahassee Community College’s Ghazvini Center for Healthcare Education on June 25, 2013. The Center houses multiple allied health programs, which include nursing and nursing assistant education. Visiting state-of-the-art simulation labs and classrooms was a highlight of the visit. The staff were also made aware of resources available at the Library Learning Commons — a one-stop learning center that provides open access computers, study rooms, study tips, test-taking strategies, onsite and online tutoring, reference materials, online research databases, research consultations and much more for students and the public.
