Updates Regarding Testing Centers During COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Posted in Latest News on April 22, 2020.

As concerns related to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) continue, NCSBN/Pearson VUE and Prometric are working diligently to ensure the safety of NCLEX and CNA testing candidates.

Please visit the Pearson VUE website as well as the COVID-19 Impact to NCLEX Candidates FAQ page as these sites will have the most updated information related to the NCLEX testing center appointment availability.

The practice of nursing by an applicant for licensure by examination is authorized by Rule 64B9-3.003, Florida Administrative Code. Graduate Nurse status has been extended for 60 days past the expiration date originally listed on the Graduate Nurse letter in order for applicants to schedule and take the examination.

Prometric has closed testing centers in the US and Canada until May 31, 2020, though this date is dependent on circumstances that are changing daily. You can find more information on their COVID-19 responses and actions at https://www.prometric.com/nurseaide/fl, and is continually updated.
