The Board of Nursing (BON) held a reception in Tampa on Thursday, June 6th to celebrate its Centennial.  Current and former board members, staff, and members of the QUIN (Quality and Unity in Nursing) Council joined together for the celebration.  Legislation creating what is now known as the Board of Nursing became law on June 13, 1913. Dr. Ann-Lynn Denker, BON Chair, observed, “It is thrilling to mark this milestone in the history of nursing regulation.  I just hope future board members look back on what we’ve done and are proud of our efforts.”
